    Aviaries

I'm kinda curious about everyones aviaries.

These are what mine are like... excuse the mess we are in the process of getting rid of all the old pigeon racing/breeding stuff my dad left before he moved.

the towls are to stop the noisy miners, and butcher birds attacking my finch

Huge thanks to Sam for the sig...2 Cats, 2 Dogs, 30 Lovebirds, 7 Cockatiel, 5 Greencheeked Conure, 2 Rainbow Loris, and fish. My birds

    Re: Aviaries

    I don't have up-to-date photos of everything...
I did a bit of switcharoo with my cages to start with as to who goes where, but everything seems suited now, and I know some improvements I'm focused on making too.

Here's my double bay aviary, this photo is from the ad and not how it is now at home. I'd like to buy new pavers for the floor, and I've found some square charcoal-coloured ones that could be suitable

Sun & Moon are in one bay, Caramel & Mocha in the other

Louis & Antoinette (king quails)... I want something bigger for these guys. This is a bit over 1mē. They've got room to run about and there's plants, dust bowls, tunnels etc in there. I was told this cage was fine, but after owning them a while and seeing other set-ups I want to buy/build something more suited. The towel was at the front in case the dog frightened them, they have a row of plants now instead. They like to sit at the front in the afternoon and catch the breeze, hehe.

I don't have pics of anything else yet at the moment... including my chook coop and Laurence's chicken house.

Anyone have experience with "dome" aviaries? I have a circular space that I could utilise for an aviary/enclosure but am stuck for ideas.

    aw yay!

i must get some pics of my aviaries...
they both have natural floors, which work really well, but require cleaning every so often and that is a hassle

Before you ask, yes I am a b!tch...
But I am an honest b!tch.

Wow thats a nice aviary, how big are your sections? Btw I love your birds especially your crimson wings we were in a throw up on getting them or Rosa Bourkes.

I have a baby dove similar to that its as peach as you get in a lovies brow band, its nest mate is the standard fawn/brown like its parents(Im still learning dove colours Im use to pigeons mealy, blue bar, mosaic, slate, pencil checker ect)
