    Peach Fronted Conure?

Who's heard of them? Someone keeps trying to sell a breeding pair on CL, but they keep getting flagged. I never heard of them and I think they look really interesting. Are they naturally like that or are they a mutation?

Here's a pic for those who are curious.

Beautiful! I've heard of them, the breeder that I got Mango from was selling a clutch a few months back.

I don't know if I'm ignorant about this but... what do you mean "they keep getting flagged" ?

my aunt has one that is 28 years old named Ranger. She swore that he was a gcc but i threw the help of TF i convinced her that he was a peach fronted. I dont know much about them as fars as if they are a hybrid or not. I cant even say i know about there nature because Ranger was abused and is mean due to the abuse, but he has his sweet moments.

But i can tell you this there realy is a peach fronted conure. and they are loud

They are a pure species, not a mutation or a hybrid. They are smaller Conures, just a little larger than a GCC.

Craig's List has a no sell policy, only a small rehoming fee, and she's trying to sell them. I don't see much of a difference, if you are PAYING money for an animal, you are still buying it.

Hybrid, thank you, I knew mutation wasn't the right word, but I just couldn't figure it out. I'm not interested in the birds, I just haven't heard of them before and I was curious. All conures seem a bit too boisterous for my taste.

No, no conures for me. They're too loud! It's a breeding pair she's selling, and she really stressed the breeding part, which means they probably aren't tame. Besides, John won't let me be a "crazy bird lady," so I have to choose my future birds very wisely. I'll be lucky if I can get two more, ever.

That's how mt b/f is, no more till we have more room. I'm trying to talk him into a bird room when we get a house! Hey, he's claiming the basement, why can't I have a room?

    Re: Peach Fronted Conure?

I can't blame him. We are really cramped in here, only 700 sq ft. Anything larger around here will cost us at least $850/month, and that is just too high. It will not stop me from finding space for one more cage. Our lease isn't up until July, and I am getting another bird by then.
