Are they high ?

I bough some fresh parsley today and left it on the kitchen side.......and went into the garage for a moment. I was only gone for a few seconds,
When I returned Skip and Sassy were acting real strange. Both of the birds had attacked the parsley plant.
Skip was tugging at the leaves so hard that her little feet were sliding all over the place but she was tugging the leaves at warp speed. Sassy had also been attacking the parsley and he was just standing on the kitchen unit shaking.
Obviously I removed the plant straight away. I watched them both closely, after about an hour they began to fight each other, something they have never done before.
Both the birds are fine now.
Could it have been the parsley making them high............it certainly looked that way

I've fed my bird parsley before and they've been fine. But I always use organic. Could it have had any chemicals on it?
