please some help for my 8yr old canary

would love some advise on what is wrong with my 8yr old male canary. His face is always wet and it seems its coming out of his mouth. He is eating well but I just can`t figure what the problem is. Any suggestions, I would love at home advise as I`m not able to afford a vet visit at this time.

I have heard of this with a tiel on here. Take him to the vet. The tiel and a seed or hull lodged (i believe) underneath his tongue what was causing excessive amount of spit to be made, it was remove and it went away.
"I will lend to you, a Bird", God said, "and teach you all you have to do. And when I call him back to heaven, you will know he loved you too."
