welcome back. i hope ya get the lovies.
It has been a very long time but I am so glad to be back. I am out of school and working on Labor and Delivery as a Surgical Tech. I am also a few weeks from being married for 1 year! Many many changes.
Our parakeet count has gone to 5. They live in our sun room. We love their sassy talk and fussing. I just found out that one of the day-shift techs has lovebirds and they are raising two young. I asked Ruth about them and she asked me if I would like them! They will be ready to come home with us in another 3-4 weeks.
I am excited to report that this is year 2 in our home and the birds are returning. We live in a new subdivision. Our home backs up to woods. We have had the hummers from the get go but now we are seeing Cardinals, Robins, and Goldfinches. We have only had sparrows and cowbirds. Also for an added surprise, a Bluebird has nested in the newspaper holder underneath our mailbox!

Life without birds, is not a life I could live
Oh they are definitely ours. I saw Ruth this morning as I was leaving the hospital and she is going to bring me pics. I think we will see about going for a visit this weekend and take our own pics.
Thanks for the welcome back.
