I'm not sure if I mentioned it or not, but I had been looking for breeders of Fischer's Lovebirds in my area. I recently moved and wanted a new addition, but wasn't sure if I was ready (after Captain's death earlier this year). My SO spoke up and mentioned that he'd like a Fischer's and I thought that that would be a nice change (Lovebird, but not a PF like Captain). Anyway, I couldn't find any and we've talked it over and decided it may be not be the right bird for us right now. So we decided on another bird that meets all of our needs, plus will hopefully be a companion for Phoebe when we are working.
I'm picking up his cage soon and hopefully him within the next week.
