What acts as Budgie Breeding stimulants?
Is there anything that will stimulate budgies into breeding?I know there has to be plenty of food and water available, as well as nest boxes, but is there something I can do to prod them into action??

How much light are they getting every day? Increasing the daylight may help.

Well, we recently moved the aviary to get more light, and they started acting as if they've been deprived breeding all their lives! But where the aviary was before, they seemed to relish the lack of light. I can't move the aviary back, because it is a large walk-in, 1.8m x 1.8m x 90cm.

So you moved it and they stopped breeding? Or started? To me it sounds like you're saying that they started mating lots, but you're asking for stimulants, so that doesn't make sense. Maybe it's just me *shrug*
What else about the location has changed? Is there more shelter, less shelter, is warmer/colder, etc? How long ago did you move them, maybe they're adjusting to the change in conditions (if there are any).

about a week and a half. but whenever we moved them before, they always started breeding within 3 days. and also, the males started trying to mate, and the females looked in the boxes, but then they stopped. Quite suddenly. They have more light, more warmth and longer days where they are now, but they've also got heaps of light shade (you know, mottled sunlight.I don't get it!!! They've got everything breeding budgies need, but none of them show interest except Smoky. A male budgie.

Along with daylight hours and diet, having a few extra pairs around will stimulate a pair to breed since they are colony breeders in the wild.

I have three budgie pairs, but they are showing much more interest in breeding, (inspecting nest boxes), so thank you for the help, I am just going to let them play it out, and hopefully I'll get some chicks!

What stimulates budgies to breed.....
1) longer day light hrs.
2) a GOOD diet to start off with (NOT an all seed dite) - then adding lots of soft foods and egg food
3) moisture in the air - budgies breed in the wild when the spring rains come. If your birds are indoors misting them daily can help simulate breeding.
4) setting up several prs of birds to breed at the same time. Budgies do a LOT better with multiple prs breeding at the same time. It’s sort of like a competition in reproduction.

Ok. I might wait till spring, cos it's much, much warmer then.
