    Combining two gyms into one?

I've got two bird gyms, both I believe are two stories. I am trying to find a way to secure both together and still maybe if possible be able to separate them. I had an idea to use the pvc hamper idea for a rolling playgym, however its been hard finding them here. I end up finding the metal ones and it does not please me.

I'll get pictures of what I have for people, but I think the lovies would love a multi leveled play area.

They don't have the PVC rolling laundry cart at your local Wal-mart? If anything, they also sell it at their online store...

I think once we see pictures of the two gym we can have a better sense of how to suggest securing them together.

I'm trying to locate the second one. I've been to a couple around here and they've got nothing or the metal ones. I'm still looking.

Why are my freckles so interesting to every baby bird I have? lol

Is there a particular reason that you want them SECURED as one? You could just place them next to each other?

If hey need to be secured you could drill wholes and use zip ties. THan just cut the zip ties off when you when them seperated. Or you could use bird safe rope, drill wholes and than tie them together.

Re: Combining two gyms into one?

Was thinking multi level, or trying to figure out how to secure them to a pvc landery basket when I find one down here. Make it like a large rolly play gym area. We dont have that much room for both of them in the room the birds are in. Thats sorta why.

Combining doesnt mean ruining, just using them together in a leveled affect or something. The tiels don't use them anymore so the lovies can play with mine once they've washed clean.

Oooooooooooh, combining as in putting one on TOP of the other. I was thinking side by side.

I'm no Bob the Builder so I can't help ya there. Hehe.

As for putting it on a larger PVC cart, like mine, I have a table top play gym on top of mine. I just balanced it on top.

two bits of wood in a cross (or three maybe) attached to on of the thick dowels

that way can lift on and off

Re: Combining two gyms into one?

I'd just build a platform for one of them, and have it beside the other one. So it's still multi-level and all (levels) are at a slightly different height, but you don't have to worry about permanently affixing one to another.
