Black nails, and beak tip.
My lovebird has a black beack tip, and black nails. I just found out that in budgies it mean they're still realy young. Is this the same in lovebirds?
Thanks

I don't have a lovebird, but I know that some birds have black nails and black beak tips...I Think it just depends on the species.

With lovebirds, this is different. Certain mutations (not all) have black edging on their beaks after the baby coloring has faded. Black nails can happen at any time, and again, it's mutation specific.
