O sorry I realized that I had it in the cockatiel forum only. The rope applies to all birds so I didn't think people owning lovebirds would be searching around in cockatiel forums.

I think it's ok, as long as it's not perfumed or has anything on it, like the aloe vera ones they sell.

I made a couple ropes this way and hung them as shredding toys for my budgies... so far they're a big hit.
