    Play Gyms

Does anybody know where I can get a play gym for my budgie in the UK?
Can't see any in the pet shops I've been to and can't find any online.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

Have you tried Petsmart, PetCo, and Amazon.com?

By the time Melanie gets done making bird toys and perches out of apple branches, there won't be any apple tree left

Its definately worth looking at making your own playgym. All they are bits of wood nailed/glued together.

If you want to colour anything boil it in food colouring for about and hour and then leave it to cool in the food colouring water.

Put some toys in (which you can also make yourself for heaps less than the price you would pay in the petstores), and voila!

Go visit a craft store and a hardware store and look at this site...

    birdgymsrus.com

    ...for inspiration.

an easy make at home kind of jungle gym

i have 7 cockatiels, two are baby's and i have a couple different type of jungle gyms, but my favorite and theres too is something i made at home, in my room i have a closet with no doors on it and no clothes in it either and one day i put a hanger on it and saw that the baby birds loved to swing on it so i made a little jungle gym out of hangers and i tied extra ladders to them and extra perches and i ended up makeing my doorless closet one big jungle gym. its great for the babies they learn great coordination trying to balance themselves on the hangers ( regular plastic hangers not metal)

    Your poor Apple Tree...lol
My son had a ton of K'nex in his room that was no longer being used. We made a huge play gym out of this for our Calvin. My hubby said I am spoiling the bird but hey......don't we all spoil our birds?..lol
