    Re: I'm very disappointed...

    I saw it!
The ending just left you hanging, really. I'm like you when it comes to that stuff - If the ending sucks then I can't stand it.
I also hate scary movies, and yet I went to see it because my friends wanted me to, lol! It reminded me of Strangers for some reason. The endings seemed similar because they just walk away in the end. (well, you know what I mean... It ends with a "They are still out there" ominous thing)
Strangers didn't scare me a bit. Paranormal activity had me freaked every time the clock ticked or banged because of that dumb noise! And If I let my thoughts wander then I'd be up all night. They did very well on that part. Especially because my thoughts tend to go crazy when it comes to that stuff, haha.
But yea. The ending was stupid. Not a favorite, but good none-the-less

    There.

    Re: I'm very disappointed...

I hate it when good movies have bad endings, it makes me so angry. I can't tell you how many times i've screamed at the TV
after watching a movie just because the ending was horrid. That's why i mostly watch Comedies and Weird movies, like
    Tim Burton movies .

I watched The Strangers. It was OK, but nothing special.
I really can't think of any GOOD horror movies that i've seen lately. The last movie i watched that i really loved was a while ago
and it wasn't a horror (Inglourious Basterds). But then again, i only get a new favorite movie maybe once or twice a year,
because most of the movies i watch suck lol.
I really wish someone would come out with a good horror already .

Let the Right One In is Swedish. I enjoyed it; however, it may seem a little slow to some viewers. I liked the two young actors in it.

Don't tell me that you've met him... JEALOUS

I never got into the SAW movies. The first one looked really interesting and I tried to watch it; just couldn't get into it.

Now Quarantine? I liked that, even though I read as many spoilers as I could before I went to see it. I recently saw [rec], the Spanish movie that Quarantine is based on. They are almost identical, with some variations of characters and such. For whatever reason, I can handle most zombie flicks and "infected" flicks, like 28 Days Later/28 Weeks Later.

I used to love watching those 70s horror/shocker flicks that have been getting remade: Last House On the Left, The Hills Have Eyes, When a Stranger Calls, The Fog, Halloween (the first two, anyway). The remakes? Not so much... although I have yet to see Zombie's treatment of Halloween. That one looks interesting!

Ha, i wish! I'm too much of a crazy fangirl to talk to *rockstars* .
The only band i've ever 'met' is Seether, despite the millions of concerts i've been too .
BUT i did see Zombie in concert and i was up in the front of the pit and i was extremely close to him lol.
And that was good enough for me .

I'm not really into Zombie/Werewolf/Vampire movies. It's just.... too fake.

And unfortunately Rob Zombie disappointed me with the new Halloween. I found it to be very boring and didn't even finish watching it. But i also have never watched any of the old Halloween movies (along with all those other similar films) so that's probably the reason why i didn't get into it *shrug*.

But i thought his newest movie The Haunted World of El Superbeasto was rather... interesting.

    You're welcome.

I just saw UP this past weekend, too. The BF just saw it on Thanksgiving Day and insisted that I see it, too, because he liked it so much. I agree wholeheartedly that it was awesome. What a great, well-rounded, cute, and fun movie!

Oh, man... I hadn't heard about that remake. Are you kidding me?

Why am I surprised -- they are remaking The Karate Kid!

It's bizarre to me that movies that are 20-30 years old are being remade. Shouldn't there be a minimum 50 year waiting period
