Re: lookie what came in the mail today!!!
kind of small?? for one single full grown tiel? your kidding me right?
they are 30" Across Front x 18" Deep x 36" High. recommended size for a single bird is 24" x 24". and they are solid. they arent made of a heavy duty steel like you see for greys or larger birds but they can bear my weight, are powder coated and were the only cages that were the correct size, shape and bar spacing for what i needed in the WHOLE of brisbane. you try to find cages in places that only sell budgie cages that are too small for a single bird or have bar spacing so wide your thumb fit comfortably through with room to spare!!!

Re: lookie what came in the mail today!!!
I had that same cage in white for my zebra finches! They are awsome cages! Sere and Nym will learn to love them and hopefully they will be nicer together now that they have their own space!

Re: lookie what came in the mail today!!!
We have the same cage for our tie and bourke! A great cage at a great price. Too bad they were so difficult to find. Now you have them you will love the room they have. They are plenty big for a tiel! I would even put 3 ties in this size cage. They don't fly around in the cage, thats what out time is for at our house.

Re: lookie what came in the mail today!!!
I thought they were a good size. You can see your guys in them in comparison to the size and plenty of room to stretch wings and play. Much better then some of the budgie cages I've seen some folks overseas put their large macaws in.
Because I can.

Re: lookie what came in the mail today!!!
I echo them being great cages for your two. lots of room for them.
Only thing i dont love are the slidy doors, but looks like you been b usy with the cable ties already
And it's not like your fids are even in their cages that often!
only problem is you've split the toys too... you're just going ot have to get busy after some more lol

Thanks Lee for the adorable sig!
