    Question White patch on beak

Hi, I'm new on this forum. Well, technically, I used to go on here and lurk but anyway, I wanted to ask a question about my cockatiel, Toulouse.
Today I noticed that he has like a white patch on his beak and a couple of white marks around it and I'm not sure what it is. He won't let me try to wipe it off so I'm not sure if it's something stuck on it or part of the beak. He seems to be acting normal other than that.
I tried to get a picture but my camera is being awful. Or maybe I just am awful at taking pictures. (I choose to blame the camera.) But they keep coming out blurry. Still, does anyone have any idea what this might be? Should I take him to the vet? He has been molting, if that has anything to do with it.

Okay, I feel awful for making this thread now. But he just let me get it off of him, so I think it was just food or powder from his feathers because it came right off. So I think he's good. Sorry!

Hi and welcome to Tailfeathers. I'm glad to read that everything is okay. Don't be afraid to ask questions as everyone was a beginner at one time and no matter how long you have birds, you won't know everything, so we all learn together.
