I had to kick a duck!

Well, maybe not "kick", but I had to shoo him away with my foot multiple times. Silly panhandling duck kept coming up to us at the lake the other day and biting my dog! It was one of those domestic ducks, and he followed us everywhere quacking. He obviously wanted food from us, but what a PITA!

I laughed at your post almost as much as I did at the "extreme up close" shot of the photographer and the bird. Maybe he's like the other bird in the Birdbreath cartoon who gets away and sicovers the outside world is uncivilized. I'm still chuckling out loud.

I understand Barb, I had a few ducks or worse geese come after me and I had to do the same thing. Silly duck probably scared the poo out of your dog!!

Hehe I have had both ducks and geese and yep they can be determined!

Lucky for the duck your dog didn't want it for dinner.

Our campus has a duck pond that they stay at year round, even during the winter because they are always fed by students. Talk about aggressive! They see you with any kind of food, and unless you plan on sharing, you'd better be wearing pants so the bites don't hurt as much, or plan on getting away quickly.

Wow, that is nuts. I never had something like that to me. I would love to see that on video.
