    Cockatiel behavour question

I just recently bought a tiel and I was wondering if your birds will come right up to you and kinda rock while puffy and move their wings a bit (almost to the beat of a song) and do tiny chirps. I've been told it's a breeding thing, but is it gender specific or somthing all tiels do?

Jessi will come right into my face and do that, kinda hunch his/her back like s/he wants to breed. Just kinda curious.
    Thanks

When my tiel wants me that way he usually just crawls onto my hand and starts swishing he isn't into foreplay. He does stand on my keyboard wings out a little, hunched down a bit and sing to me though right before bedtime.

My tiel is a male pearl/pied white face... or at least i've been told he's male cause he's losing his pearls, no DNA testing has been done.

Indie, my unattached female tiel, will hunch down, crest down & will cheep-sheep softly if you pet her (even if it'sjust her head). Theo, my unattached male, will sit on my finger or on the cage and just sing his little heart out (he's love-struck for Peeps, who's bonded with Sonny).

Umm, couldn't swear to it but I think you've got a little girl not a little boy.

Alright, She seems to talk a bit. I'm cool with that though. I didnt mind if jessi was male or female. Just wanted a bird; she's as cute as I'd ever imagine.

some females are quite the talkers... but im pretty positive jessi is a female. and she's so effing CUTE in that vid! i love when they do cute things... it makes me want to just scoop them up and squish them! (not in a bad way)
