haha I love it when Caribou does that. He'll chase your fingers around the keyboard and then finally duck his head into your hands. The first time he did this to my husband he was like "What is he doing!" I told him to scratch his beak, so he did, and Firefly automatically fluffed up and made angry piggy noises lmao

Mika isn't a toy player. He'll shove a bell toy once in a while in his cage, but that's about it. He doesn't play with anything on the living room playgym, the bedroom playgym, or the office playgym. He likes nothing more than to be on the bf or I, or sunbathing in the living room or kitchen. But does that stop me from buying toys all the time?? NO.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Mika is literally the floofiest lovebird I've ever known EVER and it's the same thing anyone says when they actually see him in person. The bf says it's because of all the love I give him. Hehe.

Your birds are too cute :] I love Raptor's eyes too. He seems more curious in these pictures while Mika just seems more out for attention and snuggles!

That's not the look of curiosity in Raptor's eyes - it's the look of trying to figure out how to get close enough to bite me. It's crazy because I spend WAY more time with him, give him ALL the treats, and am always the one to bring him out of his cage (since I'm usually home first) and yet he always wants to bite me because he's bonded to the bf and so I am the competition.

And yes, Mika is always searching for a warm crevice to cuddle in!! The instant someone sits or lays down, he goes searching! Yet, funny enough, he HATES being under cloth - he doesn't like being under blankets or inside clothing. He doesn't want to be "enclosed", he just wants to be "creviced".

Oh my gosh, I am SO jealous of your gorgeous birds, Mika especiallly!! (Also, LOVE the name!!!) He seems such a sweet and loving little lovebird (living up to the name, eh?? XD) And I can't get over how many toys and play gyms they have! Makes what I have for Rory seem like nothing! Need to go toy hunting :P Thanks for the lovely pictures!

Thank you very much! All those toys are just a snippet, though. I've got tons of toys stored away in various places, including the floor of my closet!

Don't worry, you will eventually have as much stuff for Rory - I can almost guarantee it.

Mika keeping a close eye on the neighborhood. A mom and her kids were walking by and they stared in awe as they passed... I don't think they were used to seeing a bird stare back at them when looking into people's homes.
