Thanks, everyone. Raptor sure loves all his new stuff! I highly, highly, highly recommend Things for Wings toys!! Raptor has NEVER taken a toy like this. This one is the Berry Pie:













And there is actually even MORE mess than that, as he's chewed through two blocks now, and currently STILL chewing!!

Oh, the fingertraps?? I got those on e-Bay. You can get packs of 144 for a very reasonable price!

Thanks, guys. I definitely have to admit it's so fun shopping for them - especially because the toys are so cute! I love eBay as well... I get all of their non-shreddable and bell toys from there.

BTW, the Berry Pie toy that's on the office playgym (photos above)... yeaaaaaaaaah, there are only TWO blocks left and, at the rate he's going, it'll probably be one block by the end of the night!!

Raptor and Mika have the best cages and toys around. The Wings toys look like any bird would adore them and your bird toys you made are great.

Aw, that's sweet of you to say, Deanna. I think everyone's set-ups are interesting... everyone's always doing something to their cage or playgym that makes me go, "Oooooh, I might need to try that!" That's why I love seeing set-ups, regardless of size or cost. It's a great way to bounce and share ideas.

I've seen people's set-ups on another forum - their cages are GIGANTIC (though they are for larger birds so I guess it's understandable) and some have half their house or entire basement (you know we don't have basements in Hawaii??) as the bird room. Some of those people make my set-up look itty bitty!! Hehehe. But even comparing my set-up to theirs, I the way I have everything because it's the way I want it to look - which is uncluttered and spacious.

Yes!! Though I kind of cringe thinking of how he was able to destroy such a CUTE (and expensive ) toy in a short period of time, it's sooooooooooo worth it because he was more active than I've never seen him before when he was destroying the toy. That made me extremely happy - so yet another, bigger, Things for Wings order is in the works.

My internet has been all messed up lately and finally it started to work good this morning so yours was the first cage set up pictures I looked at lately. I am in search of good toys to make Mango because he is coming to stay with us next week and I want to surprise him with new toys when he gets here. Your cage set ups gave me enough great ideas that I am off to the stores to buy some toy parts right now. Thanks Maya.

wow....ive had a 12 foot length of pvc on my balcony for weeks and now i know exactly what im going to do with it...... Im new on here and you have truely inspired me......so glad i joined......
im currently in the process of building a large indoor avairy type cage and this play gym will be a nice side project to bug the hubby with..... again thank you for the inspiration...

Alishia Best: I'm not sure 12 feet would be enough to make a playgym like this... you'd have to cut the pipe into 1 foot lengths to make a cute little cube!! Hehehe.

parrothouse: They are the 5"x5" ones! I also just ordered a couple of the 6"x8" for Raptor. They are absolutely adorable AND she just came out with a new cherry design!!
