In the UK it's usually between £10 and £15 per budgie, so between £20 and £30 for two.

Varies here - anywhere from $5-$30 each ... depends on where you get them, how tame, what mutation etc.

What are you looking for? What quality of bird are you looking for?
A person can get free budgies on Craig's list.
A person can go to a pet shop and spend $10 to $30 a bird.
A person can go to a champion exhibition budgie breeder and buy their way to the top bench spending as much as $1,000 a bird.
This is all US dollars.
