    Question Budgie Bathing?

I noticed that one of my keets, Kiwi, was trying to take a bath in the water bowl so I changed the water in the bowl and put a (freshly scrubbed) plant disc (one of those things under the plant pot to catch the water) with water in the cage. But my keets are ignoring it. Should I leave it in there for aa few hours?

You could try keeping it in there or you could try and use a similar dish to their water bowl to see if that interests them.
At least your keets are trying to bathe, my Rory will jump in bowls all the time but as soon as I put water in to try and intice him he looks at me as if to say "....pfft are you kidding me?! I'm not going in THAT it's WET!!!" it's so aggrivating!!!

Some birds prefer bowls to plates, some prefer cups, some prefer sinks, some prefer mist showers. Try out different methods if they don't like the plate you offered. Or they might just like water bowl baths
