    Question DYC single factor vs DYC double factor

    Hello Everyone,

    Here is a question regarding the Yellow Cheek Mutation.

    What is the difference between Dominant Yellow Cheek single factor and Dominant Yellow Cheek double factor????

    I recently got a DYC/pied hen and paired her with a heavy pied/lutino. I am trying to figure out when the babies will be using the Cockatiel Color Palette. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You!

    P.s When I use the color palette for double factor. This is what I get.

    Mother: Dominant Yellowcheek (double factor) Split To Pied
    Father: Pied Split To {X1: Lutino}

    male offspring:
    25% Pied Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor) Split To {X1: Lutino}
    25% Pied Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor)
    25% Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor) Split To Pied {X1: Lutino}
    25% Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor) Split To Pied

    female offspring:
    25% Pied Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor) Lutino
    25% Pied Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor)
    25% Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor) Lutino Split To Pied
    25% Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor) Split To Pied

    When I do it for single factor I get this...

    Mother: Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor) Split To Pied
    Father: Pied Split To {X1: Lutino}

    male offspring:
    13% Pied Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor) Split To {X1: Lutino}
    13% Pied Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor)
    13% Pied Split To {X1: Lutino}
    13% Pied
    13% Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor) Split To Pied {X1: Lutino}
    13% Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor) Split To Pied
    13% Grey Split To Pied {X1: Lutino}
    13% Grey Split To Pied

    female offspring:
    13% Pied Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor) Lutino
    13% Pied Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor)
    13% Pied Lutino
    13% Pied
    13% Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor) Lutino Split To Pied
    13% Dominant Yellowcheek (single factor) Split To Pied
    13% Lutino Split To Pied
    13% Grey Split To Pied
