Data has locks on new cage

I love this cage,it is great! However,I do have a very smart African Grey.He could open the food and water doors, even though they look difficult to open, they aren't for
Him.I put long hasp keyed locks on the doors and just unlock when I give him fesh food and water.
Thought I would mention it,in case anyone else with a smart bird gets a new cage.
    Also,How do I add a picture????

Easiest way is to upload one to photobucket, then click the "image" button on the top menu of posting (looks like a picture taped on four sides) and paste the URL of the image into the box that pops up.

Smart Data - my tiel once opened his sleep cage door by slamming into it, he figured out if he hit it hard enough it'd pop open. Birds love figuring out new ways of getting into mischief.

LOL - I had a friend who had a cockatoo that she had to dbl pad lock his cage. He would pick the locks with his toe nails and would get through one lock and be working on the second by dinner time. Then there were the days he would get mad and cram all kinds of junk in the lock opening so she would have to cut the lock off.

Don't know how good your guy is, but you might find you need to invest in a good pr of bolt cutters.

the combination locks are harder to pick
but it can be done. I've known birds who worked out how to twiddle the dials and listen for the click to get the combination right lol

Thanks Lee for the adorable sig!

LOL Baylee (my female lovie) got out of her cage by pushing the door with her head, once i forgot to put the lock on her cage for the night and next morning she was on top of her cage screaming at me LOL so not only big parrots are smart to open a door XD

Wow Helen what type of parrot was it?
