Today around 3 a little birdy named Flyer passed away at 4 years old. He wasnt sick (as far as we knew) and he was pretty much fine he was being his silly self and was happliy eating 5 minutes before he died. We have no clue how he died. He loved Nascar, Millet, music and of course other birds. He must of had SPDS (Sudden Parakeet Death Syndrome).

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I recently lost a bird I was co-parronting with a friend, like you she was fine up to half an hour before her death: Julie was singing as my boyfriend and I left the house to get pizza: we came in half an hour later and she was lying in the corner of the cage when we came back, on her front, wings folded back, eyes wide open, no physical injuries or signs of trauma. She was about 10 days to a fortnight away from her fifth birthday. So I have some ideas of how you are feeling.

Your little birdy is now healthy and as happy as he can be without you, when you finally go over the Rainbow Bridge, he will come flying joyfully over to meet you.
