What foods are good for birds with past liver issues?

I am adopting two conures and because of past care they had liver issues. Although they are healthy now I wondered if anyone had any suggestions for foods/supplements that are good to support the liver function. The rescue has given me several ideas but I wondered if anyone here had any suggestions or things that they use for their birds.

I know lots of people give birds with liver problems Milk thistle seeds. I think just a few of them is all they need a day to keep there liver in shape.

Herb salad has dried herbs (milk thistle) etc in it, some of which are good for liver problems. And since it's dried greens, a lot of birds will pick on it willingly.

Milk Thistle was also recommended by the rescue as good for them. I am going to check our health food store to see if they have some.
