    Olivia and the birds!

Olivia is a sweet little 3 year old daughter of a friend. She came over to visit us with her mommy. My birds went nuts for her. They fell in love with her at first sight.

Here are a few pics of Olivia holding my sun conure in a blankie. In one pic, my cockatiel is watching the two of them. The pictures were so cute I just had to share!!

She has the magic touch with your birds. That is because she appears so nice and frinndly. Not scary to the birds at all. They relax around her.

    Re: Olivia and the birds!

When Olivia was leaving, Connor gave her big, gentle kisses. Olivia is the first 3 year old I ever met that really knows how to act around little birds.

Olivia's mom, Jessica, is a friend of my daughter. This was the first time I had met them. Curious fact: Jessica got a sun conure shortly after I got Connor. Come to find out, our conures are brothers - they came from the same clutch!! She's gonna bring hers over to see ours some day.

The photo's of Olivia holding your conure in the blanket are very sweet. Your cockatiel looking down at the to of them gave me a good laugh too. Thanks for sharing the pics.

What a small world. Your daughters friend has Connor's brother.. How cool is that!!

Yes, that is a very cute photo of your daughter you are showing. She is getting an early start in being introduced to birds.

I love the pictures and I have to say what the others said, your Connor is one mellow bird to let Olivia hold him like that. If you ask my daughter she would tell Olivia to know and love a bird as a little girl is the best way to grow up. I think boomer taught my daughter patience and love sometimes more then I ever could have.

Thank you for the nice comments. Connor is one mellow - and goofy!! bird. That was kinda obvious in that video I posted with him bobbing around in front of poor Misty trying to whistle a tune. lol
