Question about Jenday or Sun

I have a baby that was hatched on 8/16/2011. He was sold as a Jenday conure. Over the past two weeks he has been getting gold feathers coming in on his wings where they should stay green. Does this happen sometimes? Is he a Sun or Sunday perhaps? It doesn't matter to me what he turns out to be, I'm just confused!
By the way "he" is arbitrary, I haven't had him DNA tested yet.
