Poo with yellow pee around it HELP!

My new budgie seems to have poo with yellow pee around it does anyone know what sickness it leads too, and can anyone tell me if ill need to take my bird to an avian vet or can I fix it myself.
I need HELP before it gets to late!

I know that I might sound crazy because I said it like that but I have already lost 2 BIRDS because of that sickness and I can't let it happen again!

Brittany, knowing that two birds have died with the same symptoms, I'm surprised you need to ask. The qhicker you get that bird to a qualified avian vet, the more chance you have of the bird surviving.

Amd from what you're saying, your bird my have a contagious disease. Wash allyour clothes, wash he cage with bird-safe disinfectant, plus all food and water bowls, all toys that can be washed (if they can't, throw them out) all perches, clean the floorand cage bars meticulously. Throw out all food yo have any but fresh, to avoid iunfecting any new birds or re-infecting the original, but first things first - get that bird to the vet ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!! You've lost two, try to save this one!!!

I separated my budgie from the new budgie into a small white cage that has not been touched by my sick budgie

So your distress over the other two didn't make him act? I can onlyt assume you live in a place where the vet is only reachable by car. Could any neighboiurs help with transportation and/or loans?

this may sound harsh but if the other two have died and the third is suffering the same DO NOT bring another bird into the house until you know what the disease is. if they are showing all the same symptoms, then what ever it is sounds contaigous.

if your father is not willing to take it to a vet then save up some money and take him yourself. i always tell people to start a vet fund as soon as they get a pet. it helps in the long run if there are ever issues like this. i personally put away $20 a week into this account, you might not be able to afford that, but anything is a great help rather than one huge lump of money if the pet ever gets ill.

If the two budgies have been in contact with each other, one may have infected the other already....keep an eye on it. Is the sck one on its perch or on the floor?

It still looks fine and it is still very active

My other bird was effected a little bit it got a little bit of a breathing problem but I put it about some steam hardly any steam and now it is back to normal!

He can get very annoying and it breaks my heart that he doesn't care about the birds!

Hard as it may be Britney, you may have to forgo getting any more birds until you have the freedom to get out to a vet's or live in your own home and cAN give them the care and attention they need. I don't understand your Dad, I personally know that my Dad would rather pay out to look after something to make me haoppy then just say "cheaper to replace it. How can he stand to see you in tears and not change his mind? (not a criticism, me saying "I don't understand it. I guess he doesn't realise how attached you get, but they are living things!)

brittany my dad was the same. he got rid of every pet i ever owned because according to him "it was too much work" and yet i looked after them, i did extra chores to pay for food etc..

sometimes they dont get it.

My mum gets what it is like to lose a much loved pet my dad doesn't although he has had a budgie before, when he was a child...

Britany, please post your bird's complete diet.

There might be a problem with what you're feeding the birds.
At least we might be able to rule it out. If a bird has an inadequate diet, he'll eventually die. So, maybe we can help you to save your birds if indeed there is a dietary problem.

Ok well we give him normal seed brand called TRILL and to make his diet complete we put nutrient droplets in his water.
BAD NEWS on a avian website where you ask questions and you know they get answered I read some of the symptoms which show you if your bird is very sick and one of them say LOOSE POTTIES and that means if your bird is having wet poos like I said poo with yellow pee It means it is a major warning of BAD sickness!
And my dad just gave me permission to go to the vets but not even with my BIRDS!to prove that I am wrong and my bird is completely fine well there wasn't an avian vet but the vets have treated birds they said could either be sign of bad sickness or maybe it is nothing and now my dad is saying they said its nothing so I don't want you to ask me for permission to take your birds to the vet anymore!

Now my only hope is to show my mum the syptoms website so she can show it to my dad which won't get him really mad then maybe he will let me take my birds to the vets.

Wish me luck I hope that plan works because I'm desperate to take my bird to the vets, if my dad let me take my very first bird that was sick to an avian vet in the first place I wouldn't have had to suffer 2bird deaths in my house and if my dad doesnt take my bird that is sick right now to the vets then I'm going to have to suffer a third bird death!
