Hello all,

I hope everyone has had a good new year. Perseus is doing good. He has definitley grown on us.

I do have a few questions though.
For about the past month and a half, he has grown into quite the biter. Over the past couple of days he seem to not come out of his cage as much and feathers are on the ground. I have never seen him pull his feathers out but my children seem to think he is. I have just seen him preening and then the feathers seem to just fall out. I was scratching him on his head today and a feather came out on my finger. I am assuming this is him molting. Am I correct in assuming this or is this something I should be concerned with? I am not sure hold old he is. I got him at the pet store right when the breeder delivered him. Also, I cannot seem to find the ages when a GCC molts or how often. If anyone has this information, I would greatly appreciate it.
