Introducing solid foods, how to soak millet??
So Captain Jack is 4 weeks old now and starting his 5th week. He's had a sprig of millet hanging in his cage for a week and a half or so, I've seen him pick at it, and he even nibbled a few seeds out of my hand.
This week I'm going to start adding some veggies and soaked millet for him to nibble on and experiment with. I won't be decreasing his formula this week (he's eating 7ccs/mls at 8am, 1pm, and 6pm and 8 or 9 ccs/mls at 11pm.)
I have some carrots and broccoli I can steam and I have several millet sprays. I've seen to give them "soaked millet" all over the place, but I'm not sure how to soak it. Do I leave it on the spray, do I de-seed the spray and then soak the seeds? Any help would be appreciated it. Thanks!
