Hi there!
My husband and I have wanted a bird for a few months, and just got our wish this weekend! His name is Elmer, he is an 8yr old DYHAmazon
We actually bought him from our local pet store, and they didn't know much about his history, just that he's 8yrs old. They thought he probably hadn't been taken out of his cage very much. It does take some coaxing to get him out of his cage, but once he's out he is very curious and happy & making some sounds.
Any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated! My family had a bird when I was younger, but all I really remember about his was that he only liked my dad and I. Elmer seems to take turns with my husband and I so far!
We are already in love with this little guy, and can't wait to grow and learn with him!
