Male Jenday conure and bloody poop

I have a 2 year old male Jenday Conure who presented today with one bout of vomiting and several bloody poops. I'm not sure what this means and I am very worried.

It means it's time to see an avian vet. Definitely take him in. Bloody poop and vomiting are not something you want to wait on.

I feel the same way. He's in first thing tomorrow. My poor boy.

Yep. I hope everything turns out alright! Poor kiddo. Orsino used to throw up all the time, but he never did the bloody poop. Is it bright red or dark?

Keep him nice and warm tonight and please let us know how he is doing once you see the vet. My thoughts are with both of you and I hope he will be OK.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. He had a fitful night and continues vomiting and pooping. We see his doc at 10a. Will post after the visit. I'm so worried. It breaks my heart to see him feeling so poorly. Send lots of bird love our way.

I wished he felt better this morning but it least he is going to the vets soon and I hope they will find out what is wrong with him right away. My thoughts are with you, its rough on us to see our little birds so sick.

Healing vibes to the poor baby, hope the vet can find a good treatment for him.
