*le sigh* The Terrible Ones are upon us. Corey (my Quaker) appears to be hitting puberty. The little lovebug has decided that all things near his cage are in fact HIS and no evil hands shall be permitted near that which is HIS. Also, I'm not allowed to raise my hand above elbow level because apparently my hands become a threat to my head with which HE is in love. So... *sigh*
Corey will be living on the floor (well insulated, no worries) to keep him below even my seated eye level. He will also be finding his movements outside the cage restricted for a while. No need to spread the territory any further. But I still have to feed him and socialize/train him every day, and hands are evil. Oh well, what's a few more scars after years living on a farm.
Fortunately I know that this is a phase and that with proper care he should come out of the worst of it. Keep me (and my hands!) in your thoughts for the next few months!
