I'm not going to lie, that sparrow chick IS slightly frightening.
But, aww, I bet it's cute when he has his mouth open, begging for food! I know my chick just recently got the "cute" status. Before he was naked, pink and premature in appearance, LOL!

Didn't know sparrows had heads that looked like that without feathers. Kind of looks like a vulture head from a cartoon.
I have to admit, even I can't find him very cute, but he'll be beautiful when he grows up.
