thanks I heard about this on tv. thank goodness, I don't use any of the products mentioned. why do we buy food for our pets from China anyway? thats our governments fault-- lets keep our own people working and produce/buy american made. my husband and I won't buy foreign cars either.

I seen this post when it was posted here and come to find out my sisters dog and my cousins dogs both eat a food on the recall list. I am so happy I saw it so I could warn them about it.

It's such a shame that so many pet foods are being recalled. A neighbor of mine made the local news over a week ago with his chocolate lab and how sick he got from Diamond Pet Foods.

Hope everyone is aware of pet food recalls and take the additional steps in reading the recall information and taking the necessary steps on keeping are pets healthy.

I know some American made foods have had recalls as well, but it doesn't seem like they are as frequent as the stuff made in China. It seems that we always have an empty shelf of something made in China that is being recalled. You rarely hear about recalls of products made elsewhere (like Canada ). The other thing that scares me is "made in U.S. manufacturing facilities". They whip together all the ingredients in the U.S., but those ingredients could come from anywhere.

I aim for "Made in the U.S.A. with American grown ingredients", but you have to read the labels as well. It's too bad I don't put this effort into feeding myself...
