He will be a year old on the 21st of may. I don't know if it's just me, but in the sunlight it looks like he has different shades of green on him. Would that mean he's not fully a sea green?

Does anyone know if he is a true seagreen or does he have some other mutation along in there? I only ask because in the sun light he seems to have different shades of green.

I really can't make any sense of the whole Peachfaced *Blue* series, but I will say he's definitely a stunning bird!!! Beautiful photos of him.

I have no clue what kind of lovie he is but I agree, Petri is a stunning bird. He also looks like he is enjoying our awesome weather we finally are having here.

Oh yea he is! The pics two pics in the middle were of him on the porch in his travel cage before we went to get his wings clipped. And the one on the top and the bottom were in the car on the way to get his wings clipped.

Oh and while we were there at the Bird Shop, we rescued another cockatiel! This lady just came up to us and asked if we can take her bird for free! She works alot and has no time for him, and was trying to give him back to the shop but they wouldnt take him. We named him George and he is a normal grey. He is missing 3 toe nails but perches very nicely. Hopefully he will get along with our female Jane which is a Cinnamon pearled pied cockateil.

I love going to the Bird Shop down there! I use to stop by when we went down there to buy toys and some of the bulk item things they sell. And of course admire all the birds they have in the store, especially the nursery when they had birds in it.

I am super happy you were there when the lady with George was walking out with him and hopefully George and Jane get along perfectly.

Petri is simply stunning!! I love the pics you posted! Keep them coming for sure! And also, please post pics of George when he gets settled in. I admire you so much for adopting George. If you would ever decide to get into breeding and breed George and Jane, I would say you could have some "gorgeous" babies!

Thank you! So far they are getting along just fine, in fact they slept in the same cage last night! He was singing yesterday morning as well it was too cute! But as soon as I get home I will take a few pics.
