My senegal is fully flighted and has learned the new house well. She gets around pretty good. Recently, she has gotten super attached to me. Even if I step out of the room for a minute she will fly off of her play gym to try and be where I am at. She mostly ends up on the top of her cage in the bedroom or on top of one of the fans in the other rooms. I have opened the blinds and put her play gym in front of a window and that works for a little bit but not for long.
I would like her to stay put a little more. How do I get her to stay on the gym when she is out of the cage? btw, I feed her seeds and veggies while she is on the gym only. She only has pellets in her cage. You would think that would make her want to stay. I guess food is not as important as being with mommy!
