Separated a pair of lovebirds
H I recently seperated my two lovebirds since they would ocationaly fight, but I started to hear some squeaking noise coming out from their nest box so I assumed they where fighting so I heard that two lovebirds fight until the death of one of them. But my lovebirds they don't fight badly but I will seperate them for a week and will see from there on wards so what do u think guys?

First Clutch Hatching...
Re: Separated a pair of lovebirds
They could have been breeding? Are you a breeder? A nestbox encourages breeding, which means your birds hormones go wild and that could cause them to fight more.

Re: Separated a pair of lovebirds
Yes I want them to breed. They both are inside most of the time it has been a month when I kept it in.
But I intruduce the male ( nearly a month ) the female had a pair but sadly it died but the new one from what I see they are bonded together. I did this trebble thing I separated them for few hours because I thought they were fighting so when I sperated them they were trying to break the cage to see each other lol. So that a test for my and also. A proof that they are bonded.
