Abandoned Parakeets, Mt. Prospect, IL

Hello everyone - it's been a while since I've posted here but I thought someone might see this and be able to help. I was at the local PetSmart/Banfield vet yesterday for beak trims and while talking to their bird staff about birds was told that they have 2 parakeets which were abandoned by the front door.

If anyone is interested, they are free since PetSmart's policy does not allow them to be resold as they are not part of their "stock" and have no guarantees. One is blue, the other green and they are believed to be males - they come with the cage they were left in.

If anyone is interested or knows of someone who might be interested please call PetSmart @ 847-870-1636 and either select the "bird" option or ask for Laura. I hope someone can help.

Poor babies! If I lived closer I would take them home in a heartbeat! I hope they find a great hope with an owner that won't abandon them again
