Angel's face feathers beaten up/missing

Angel's feathers above her cere and around her right eye are sparse- it seems like some def went missing but there is no visible blood. I know she'd been scratching her face with her foot and that a few of the other birds pecked at her yesterday (and were removed to solitary cages as a result). This should resolve itself right? She's very panicky and NOT hand tame.

It could be possible that she is molting and perhaps it is making her itch more so she has lost more feathers. I do hope it isnt anything else but that but I think you putting her in a seperate cage might be a good idea until you really know its a molt rather then something else.

Thank you, I've been keeping her separate at night and watching closely during the day. ..honestly if you asked me I'd have guessed they never stop molting from the shape of my living room lmao. Think I've vacuumed enough feathers to start a pillow company!

I bird sat for two budgies and they do seem to lose lots of feathers all the time so I know what you mean about molting all the time. I hope your Angel will be all back to her fluffy self in no time.
