Adopting a tamed lovebird

Hi I'm going to adopt a tamed lovebird from a breeder. But the question is
Will it trust me or will it be tamed with me or it's just the breeder who will it trust.

You never know with a lovie. When we first brought boomer home he was afraid of us but he loved hanging out on the back of our neck. In time your lovie will accept you and be fully tamed but I need to warn you that some lovies are very afraid of hands. It took my lovie a good month before he ever let us touch him and he still had issues with hands grabbing at him. Other lovies here hate being touched with hands and they have been with there families for years. Each and every lovebird is different and if yours isnt tame right away it least you will have it to entertain you and make you smile day after day at its antics. They are tiny goofballs that you will love more then anything else in your life.

You never know with any bird. Whether if it's a lovie, budgie or a tiel. Lovies do make me laugh. The ones I have seen are mischievous and quick. Just spend time with your upcoming arrival and earn its trust.
