Broken egg :(
Hello, I have 2 cockatiels, a male &female. They laid 6 eggs. I was trying candling one and I accidently drooped the poor egg and cracked. There was blood on it, did that meant it was fertile? Will they stop sitting on them if they know they're missing one? Please help.

Brand New Egg
Re: Broken egg :(
I'm very sorry to say that yes, the egg was fertile. In my experience though, the cockatiels will continue to sit on the remaining eggs and not be too bothered about replacing the missing one. I hope this will be the case for you.
Good luck.
