Baby Pigeon Help...

There's a baby pigeon, not flighted, feathers are almost fully grown except the underside of its wings, and got these yellow...'strings' (string-like...) on the feathers. Its got some flea probs and still needs to be handfed. Is there anything to be careful of when caring for this little one? I understand that the flea prob can be solved by some anti-flea spray...right? Handfeeding can be done with a small spoon or syringe? And what kinda food do I fill it with? Crushed and wet millet? Help...

I would call a wildlife bird rescue in your area to either get advice on how to take care of it or lots of them will come to your house and take them to the rescue where they will take care of him until it can be released. I wouldnt spray it with a flea spray due to they are usually toxic and it could kill the baby.

Okay... But no probs so far now cause my mom knows how to feed him. Actually, I'm thinking of keeping him. The only problem now is the fleas. Does bathing him help? He hasn't bathed since he was born...in a pile of poop...

There is some medicated bathes you can give them but I dont where to get them at. You can definitely give it a bath in just plain water and hopefully some of the fleas will fall off with the bath.
