I just joined this forum, heard a lot about it and I thought I could get some help around here with taming my new 5-month old peach-faced lovebird.

Hi Divya. Welcome to the site! Lovies are the best birds and my advice to you is let your lovie decide what he wants to learn because they are independent little birds and if they dont want to learn something they wont. When I had boomer we would work with him for perhaps 5 minutes at a time trying to teach him and then he would run away to do his lovie thing because he got bored real fast with us trying to teach him things. They also love to be praised when they do learn something, a high pitched "Good Boomer" was enough to make him do anything 3 or 4 times for us.

Yes, we do love our pictures here and I especially love lovebird pictures here like Ellen said "pictures please".
