Re: Questionnaires for bird for IGCSE
1. How many birds do you own?
Only one at the moment
2. What different type of species do you own?
bear eyed cockatoo
3. What features does your bird cage provides?
He is actually cage free at the moment- his playstand however has a slide out tray, a perch on top and a bar perch on the bottom in a H shape. It also has three ladders and wheels as well as a shelf under it. Four toys and a swing as well.
- Food Box, Tray for cleaning wastes, Toys, Wood Branch, Wheels for moving, Cover on top to prevent from making the bird sick.etc
4. If you were to buy a bird cage, do you want any built ins? If so, please specify.
I would want wheels and perches built in or provided with it. I also like playstand tops and trays that allow easy cleaning (I personally hate how most cage trays have a indent where you pull it out- it prevents me form just laying paper down and I have to actually make sure it fits well to make cleaning easier.
5. Amount you plan to buy the bird cage. (Please specify your currency type)
I personally would like to spend only around $300 USD for a cage however that will never happen due to where I live and shipping costs.
6. How often do you clean your cage?
twice a day if Zeus is very messy that day, otherwise once is enough.
7. Would you prefer hanging or ground cage?
I like ground cages. I live in a earthquake prone area and a hanging cage would be far too risky and would make even a small quake that doesn't even cause me to bat a eyelash even harder for a bird.
8. How many birds do you plan to keep inside the cage?
I have only ever kept one in a cage however am interested in keeping two in a very large cage.
