Do they preen when they are sick??

I was just wondering and it is a pretty silly question but unfortunately i don't know the answer to it...
do sick budgies preen or feed each other???

My experience is they do it every day. Getting preened or fed is more likely in my experience a first step in choosing a mate.

my budgies already have a VERY strong bond between eachother!
but doi they preen when sick?

When boomer was sick he hardly ate anything and if he did it would usually be because I would hold the food in my hand and he felt obligated to eat it. If your birds are sick there poops wouldnt be the same at all. It would either be all mixed together into a big blob of diarrhea or super wet with lots of liquids and dark, dark green on the inside with very little white. They wouldnt be cheeping or feeding each other either so I think your birds are just fine.
