Parrotlets

Hi every one,
I am hoping that any one here from Australia can put me in touch with some one who breeds Parrotlets. It does not seem that they can be found in Australia. But i thought to try any how. This is my last hope as all other searches did not deliver any results. Any help will be usefull.

I have a feeling they were illegal in aus... maybe even as recent as 4 or 5 years ago.

Even if the law had changed, 5 years isn't very long at all to get birds breeding as settled as pets. Even if you could find them they'd be crazy expensive...

What was it that attracted you to them? Maybe we can come up with a list of alternatives. Not the same I know, but if they just aren't out there...

I dont know anything about laws in ausie as I am from Alaska but this link I found talks about the lelgal stuff about parrotlets in ausie
