Egg's Cracking...
Energetic budgies
Hi
This morning when I let my birds out they literally went crazy!
All the other times they just fly onto their cage but today they started flying around like crazy like they were having some kind kind of workout!
Does anyone know why?

I don't know, but Sammy has been NUTS this week
Like I've resorted to giving him baths just so I'll have some peace and quiet while he's drying his wings outs before the bombardment starts again. Even my Hubby's remarking on how crazy the little guy is
I'm thinking maybe the weather?

Thanks Lee for the adorable sig!

Re: Energetic budgies
Several years ago, ours latched onto the electrical outlet. He kept flirting around and picking at it then suddenly there was this huge flash of light. We thought he was electrocuted and he was but baby, when he came out of it, he up and flew straight into the wall. What a smash! This dropped him to the floor big time. We placed him back in his cage and for three or four days, he set there like he had a major hangover. Now he's up to it again, always trying to clutch to the electrical outlets. I'm not sure why he's so stuck on those things but it's a real comedy show.

He never flew so fast before and I'm sure when he hit the wall, there was a big dent in it. When he tumbled to the floor, he appeared to be dead. But baby, up he got again and he lit on the stove (fortunately it wasn't turned on) and we put him in his cage. His feathers seemed a bit scorched on the ends but he was ok.
Now he seems to be enjoying life again, hanging around on the electrical outlets. He seems to get a real charge out of it. He's just so loveable!
