Re: parents feeding baby wont eat soft food
Yes, your baby can digest seeds. When parents of baby birds feed their young, they take the seeds into their crop, and the seeds get soften up by the fluids in their crop. The baby will definitely be able to digest the food. In fact, I would imagine the parents will go for the seeds before the soft foods, because that is just a natural instinct. It really is neat to watch how the parents of baby birds work to keep those babies feed and alive and growing. Hope all works out for you. We love pics here, so when the baby gets bigger, post some pics of your little flock. Good luck!
