That is horrible! How sad it is Goldenfeast, they do make some awesome blends of seed mixes and other food. I wonder if any of this has been passed on to any of our food because I know Goldenfeast uses only organic human grade food for their mixes.

I wonder how great the danger is?
While I do go on about the amount of contaminated bird foods that have come to light just this year alone.
Is it that bad? or just another scare, because the testing in this day and age is so sensitive and can pick up such small traces of this and that.

I give you the Fonterra botulism scare that saw product recalls and seizures from China to Saudi Arabia. This has cost millions and millions and damaged the brand name for life. And there was no contamination after all, in retesting.

It's only a risk for this batch, I wouldn't say it's a risk for using the brand in the future. No company or farm can prevent salmonella contamination, no matter how careful they are. They removed all of the lettuce in one part of the country due to contamination earlier this year. They just got a bad shipment of parsley.
