Sorry I have no idea. Can you get a video and show the vet what is going on?
Come on Sammy you are scaring mummy.
Anyone come across this. Sammy's been making snotty noises - and particuarly in the evenings. This goes on for a day or two, but never actually during the day and without any symptoms other than that. And then it won't happen for weeks again.
Obviously Sam's under vet care - but I've just say here working from home with Sam all day, and not heard a snort - and this evening he's had a sneezing fit and another of those strange snotty snorty minutes.
Not of course he's hanging upside down beating the heck out of a toy. So, just wondering if anyone else has come across this?
Thanks Lee for the adorable sig!

R.I.P my little ones.
Do you think he is getting tiny feather sheaths in his nostrils making him sneeze and get snotty? I remember boomer would get these all the time and we sometimes would have pick his nose to get a tiny piece of a sheath out of his nostril.
Fly Free Boomer, we will forever love you.
It's not really worrying me too much - cause he's being his usual mad little self. It's just weird that it seems to happen in the evening, but not any other time really.
Dea, sometimes he clearly has got stuff in his nostrils. Sometimes he clears it, other time evil bad mommy has to pin him down - which always goes well lol Thank goodness for millet and easily bribed boys!
Thanks Lee for the adorable sig!
Tini obviously has breathing issues, but I think that I hear those same noises with her as you hear with Sammy. Not all the time, only occasionally. I tend to hear it a day or two before she is due for her sinus flush. I know with her bad foot she cannot clean out her own nare, so I do that for her. I know she is feeling particularly snotty when she very patiently allows me to clean her nare. However, she never appreciates the sinus flush. Ever. For Tini, I have to say I usually hear it toward the evening as well...I think that it's all the eating, playing, and fluttering around that kicks gunk up, but I don't know for sure.
I don't do a flush. I use a vet pick and then a bulb syringe to suck out. He really, really does not like water around his nares lol
I have a stethascope - so can check there's nothing lower down - and for the ridiculously small amount it cost me online, it's so, so worth it.
Hope Tini's doing well x
Thanks Lee for the adorable sig!
